Kathryn H. Rippy

 

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Kathryn moved to Los Angeles, California to complete her bachelor's degree in Communication and Psychology from the University of Southern California. Kathryn earned her Master of Science degree in Consulting Psychology from the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management at Alliant International University in San Diego, California, where she currently resides.

Kathryn concentrates on creating and implementing a variety of organizational effectiveness interventions with the goal of connecting individual performance with organizational strategies. She specializes in strategic planning, leadership and employee development programs, and performance management initiatives. Her background in designing and implementing surveys and assessments provides her with a strong foundation to examine organizational needs through employee, team, and organization level assessments. Kathryn works with leaders to design and implement solutions to improve business practices and aid system-wide change. She has over 10 years experience with both private and public sector consulting engagements and has worked in a variety of industries including Public Services, Marketing, E-commerce, Lending Institutions, Human Resources, and Consulting.

Kathryn has extensive training and experience in individual and team development, including coaching, performance feedback and creating cohesion in the workplace. Her work in both the public and private sector has led to the development and facilitation of large-scale leadership development programs, well-integrated strategic plans, identification of opportunities for organizational improvement, implementation of performance measurement initiatives, and effective change management solutions. She has also assisted with retention efforts, customer service delivery, and executive coaching for performance and management success.

Kathryn has held previous consulting positions with J.D. Power and Associates, the County of San Diego, and Plus Delta Consulting. Kathryn is involved in several organizations including OD Network, Professional Coaches and Mentors Association (PCMA), American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and the USC Club of San Diego.
